What is the difference between an electronic ticket (e-tickets) and paper tickets?
With an e-ticket, you will receive an itinerary in the mail before you leave. To check in for your flight, you present the proper identification to the person at the check in counter. Unless you pre-board online your boarding passes are issued when you check in.
Seldom is paper tickets issued anymore. However if the airlines does issue paper tickets you receive a voucher and a itinerary in the mail before your trip. To check in for your flight, you present the vouchers and proper identification to the person at the check in counter, along with proper identification. Your boarding passes are issued when you check in.
