As you might imagine, it could potentially cause a lot of problems if all reservation holders could change a name on their reservation at any moment - especially if flight tickets purchases are involved [Read this FAQ for more details]. Additionally, it is important that you ensure that all names on your reservation are correct as early on as possible to avoid such problems.
