Scheduled Itinerary for London, Paris and Rome
It"s almost time for your upcoming trip to Europe. No doubt you are getting excited! Below is some information that can help you to plan your trip.
September 3, Friday
Depart for London from your city of origin. Don"t forget that the weight limit for your two pieces of checked luggage is 50 lbs per piece. Please check with your airline, see the phone number on your flight itinerary, to see if there will be fees to check your luggage.
September 4, Saturday
Arrive to London. Transfer to the Enterprise Hotel. You will arrive to Victoria Station. Here you will purchase your 4 day pass for your stay in London.
September 5, Sunday
Buckingham Palace - Changing of the Guard takes place at 11:30 a.m. (no ceremony if it"s raining). It"s free to watch.
British Museum - Private tour price £2.50 (pounds) to be collected at the moment of entrance to the museum. You won"t want to miss seeing the Bible tour and other attractions.
Tower of London Tour - Allow 2 - 3 hours for this tour. Departing from the hotel, you will take the Tube. Open from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The plan is to leave at about 10:00 a.m. from the hotel.
Other Activities for Sunday Afternoon
London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament or Westminster Abbey
Visit an old pub and eat fish & chips!
September 6, Monday
Depart the hotel at 7:00 a.m. You will take the train to London Bethel for your tour.
Return to the hotel via train. Remainder of day free.
September 7, Tuesday
Depart London- St Pancras Station (by King"s Cross) for Paris, France- Nord Station, via the Eurostar train at 8:55 a.m. You will travel through the 22-mile Channel Tunnel, the Chunnel. Arrive to Paris at 12:17 p.m.
Transfer to Hotel Carladez Cambrone that is located near the Eiffel Tower. Be prepared to walk to the hotel.
Remainder of day free. Suggestions: Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triumph on a river cruise.
September 8, Wednesday
Depart Paris to Louvier, France to visit Bethel. We will depart from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to arrive by 9:30 a.m. for our tour.
We will eat lunch on the way to Giverny. Tour Monet"s Garden/House*. Tour approximately 1 - 2 hours.
Depart Giverny and drive to Versailles. Tour Castle and Gardens*. Tour approximately 1-2 hours. Return to hotel in Paris.
September 9, Thursday
Places of interest in Paris- Sacre Ceour, Eiffel Tower, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame
Shopping: Galleries Lafayette – look up from inside to stained glass dome roof. Eat at Montmatre, if you’d like.
This evening you will travel by train to Rome. Your tour guide will advise you of the transfer time to the train station. Your train will depart Paris Bercy Station at 6:52 p.m. You will have sleeping accomodations on the train. Meals are not included.
September 10, Friday
Arrive to Rome Termini Station at 10:12 a.m. We would recommend having breakfast on the train before arrival.
Tour the Rome Branch.
Check into Hotel Andreotti. Remainder of day free.
Suggestions: Purchase sightseeing tickets in Termini Station, tour the city, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps
September 11, Saturday
Suggestions: From Termini Station you can go to the Vatican Museum where you will see Sistine Chapel, Coliseum, ruins of Rome, Saint Peter Basilica, etc.
The fees to the Vatican Museums are based on which tour package you purchase. You may visit www.viator.com to price many of the attractions listed for this day.
September 12, Sunday
September 13, Monday
Transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport for your return flight.
Depart with pleasant memories and new friends having been made.
NOTE: This itinerary is subject to change, due to human error and/or unforeseen occurrences. If there is a change, you will be notified in advance by your BCT Tour Guide. We will try to adhere as closely as possible to this schedule.
