Why are some arrival dates for the BCT Excursion different?
Arrival times at the BCT Destination City are different (a) when those not attending the convention are to arrive in the host city and travel with the attendees to the BCT destination and (B) when Attendees leave a day earlier to get to the BCT destination city than those not attending the Convention.
See below for details on those trip scenarios:
(a) when non-delegates are to arrive in the host city and travel with the delegates to the BCT destination
The Wurzburg / Rothenburg trip that is in conjunction with the July 18-20 Frankfurt IC. On this trip all travelers depart from Frankfurt for Wurzburgh on Tuesday July 22. Therefore those not attending the Convention need to arrive on Monday so that they can be ready to depart on Tuesday for Wurzburg plus have time to enjoy a half-day tour of Frankfurt.
Delegates will no doubt have already enjoyed a tour of Frankfurt arranged and provided by the local host city.
The Cuernavaca + Taxco + Acapulco trip that is in conjunction with the Oct (TBA) Mexico City IC. On this trip all travelers delegates and non-delegates alike will depart from Mexico City for Cuernavaca on Tuesday Oct (TBA). Non-delegates need to arrive on Monday so that they can be ready to depart with the delegates on Tuesday for Cuernavaca and have time to enjoy a half-day tour of the Mexico Branch.
Delegates will no doubt have already enjoyed a tour of the Mexico Branch arranged and provided by the local host city.
(B) when IC Attendees leave a day earlier than those not attending to arrive at the BCT destination City.
The Australia + Branch Tour trip that is in conjunction with the Oct 17-19 Melbourne IC. On this trip IC Attendees depart from Melbourne by train for Sydney on Tuesday Oct 21. Those not attending the Melbourne IC need to arrive in Sydney on Wednesday Oct 22 so that they can check into their Sydney BCT Provided hotel together with everyone else.
