China’s enormous land area juxtapositions interestingly with its population, the most of any nation on earth. China’s diverse people are perhaps the most culturally idiosyncratic in the world, thus encounters with these fascinating people can be best described as mesmerizing. Most who have visited this wonderful country say it was an unforgettable experience, one not to be missed. <strong>BEIJING</strong>

You will visit the world’s largest square – <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/Tiananmen.asp" target="_blank">Tiananmen Square</a>. You will also see the largest Imperial Palace in the world – <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/Forbidden_City.asp" target="_blank">Forbidden City</a> – where 24 emperors of the Ming & Qing dynasties lived and controlled China for several hundred years. See the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/Summer_Palace.asp" target="_blank">Summer Palace</a> were the largest, best-preserved imperial gardens of the world are located. A trip to China would not be complete without a visit to the Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization, and perhaps China’s most famous landmark. You will also visit the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/Temple_of_Heaven.asp" target="_blank">Temple of Heaven</a> which was built in 1420. In addition, you will see Beihai (North Sea) Park , which is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved ancient imperial gardens in China located in the center of Beijing.



<strong>XIAN</strong>

A highlight of Xian is the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/Terracotta_Warriors.asp" target="_blank">Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses Museum</a>. It is not only reputed as the world’s Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. You will also see the Xian Art Ceramic & Lacquer Factory. Your visit will include a stroll along the Bell & Drum Tower Square and Ancient Cultural Street. You will see the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/Shaanxi_history_museum.asp" target="_blank">Shaanxi Provincial Museum</a> which was built after the model of the Tang Dynasty and features a total of 113,000 relics unearthed locally. See the ancient <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/xian_attractions.asp" target="_blank">City Wall</a>, which is the largest, and best-preserved castle in the world.



<strong>GUILIN</strong>

Guilin is regarded as the most scenic place in China, sitting on the west bank of the Li River. Its name means “forest of Sweet Osmanthus”, owing to the large number of fragrant Sweet Osmanthus trees located in the city. The city has long been renowned for its unique scenery. Guilin, is one of the most scenic destination in China, offering many spectacular landscapes to all the visitors. Visiting the Yangshuo ancient town will provide travelers with an opportunity to explore this very beautiful part of China.



<strong>SHANGHAI</strong>

Shanghai is known as “China’s Star.” Your sightseeing in the city will include a visit to the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. You will tour the impressive Bund, which is known as the symbol of Shanghai. The Bund features 52 high-rises of all architectural styles which stand in the west, prominently displaying world architecture at its best. You will also enjoy the lighted metro channel under Huangpu River (one way), a small train will slowly take you to the other end of the tunnel. Along the road, you will see some dazzling and sparkling lights of different colors. A fun way to cross the Huang Pu River! You will tour Shanghai Museum, a large-scale ancient Chinese art museum. The museum houses over 120,000 pieces of cultural relics, especially ancient artworks. Afterward you will enjoy a short but exciting cruise tour on the Huangpu River. It is an excellent way to unveil the two faces of Shanghai.

<b>Day 1 – Beijing Tour</b>



Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the world largest square-<a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/tiananmen.asp">Tiananmen Square</a>. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-<a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/forbidden_city.asp">Forbidden City</a> where 24 emperors of <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/China_History.asp">Ming & Qing dynasty</a> lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.  After lunch, visit the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/temple_of_heaven.asp">Temple of Heaven</a> which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year. The next stop is the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Summer_palace.asp">Summer Palace</a>. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-Guide/China_world_Heritage.asp">UNESCO’s World Heritage</a> List in 1998. A 40 minutes free shopping at fresh water pearl center.

<b>Day 2 – Great Wall of China Tour</b>



Take a 2 hrs drive to Mutianyu<a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/badaling_great_wall.asp"> Great Wall</a>, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. On the way, visit the jade factory where you can buy some souvenirs. Hiking the Great Wall for 1.5 hr.



After Chinese style lunch, visit the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/ming_tombs.asp">Ming Tombs</a>. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing. On the way back to your hotel, pay an exterior tour to Beijing’s iconic construction-the Olympic Green as well as the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Beijing_olympics_stadium.asp">“Bird Nest” and the “Water Cube”</a>.

<b>Day 3 – Beijing Hutong Tour</b>



Pick up from your downtown <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-hotel/city/Beijing-hotels-booking.asp">Beijing hotel</a> at 9:00am. <i>Giant Panda tour</i> features the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Beijing_zoo.asp">Beijing Zoo</a> located in the Xicheng District of <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Beijing-travel-guide.asp">Beijing</a>. Pay a visit to panda house.



After lunch at local restaurant, head to Shishahai Lake area and explore the old Beijing<a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/Beijing_hutong.asp">hutong</a> by rickshaws. <i>Followed with a visit to local Chinese tea center to enjoy tea ceremony.</i>

<b>Day 4 – Beijing to Xian by Early Morning Flight</b>



Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport and take a two-hour flight to <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/xian_travel_guide.asp">Xian</a>. On arrival in Xian, meet our local guide and stroll along the Ancient Cultural Street and Bell & Drum Tower Square.



Check in to hotel.

<b>Day 5 – Xian China Tour</b>

<b>Day 6 – Xian to Guilin by Flight</b>



Transfer to airport for <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/guilin_travel_guide.asp">Guilin</a>, heart of Southwest China and home of the nation’s most spectacular natural scenery with the astonishing limestone caves and rivers. Meet our local guide and visit the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Elephant-Trunk-Hill.asp">Elephant Trunk Hill</a>, Guilin’s best known site and it is the symbol of Guilin. Transfer to our <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-hotel/city/guilin-hotels-booking.asp">Guilin hotel</a>.

<b>Day 7 – Guilin China Tour</b>



Enjoy a downstream cruise on the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/li-river.asp">Li River</a> which moves gently between Guilin’s lovely peaks. It is called the “hundred-mile art gallery.”  Lunch on board.  Stop at the town named<a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/yangshuo_attractions.asp">Yangshuo</a>, which is embraced by a dozen of limestone karst mountains, and “has the best scenery in Guilin.”  The West Street in Yangshuo, a 1.2 mile stretch crammed with pubs, shops and hotels. Glimpses of the rich culture can be found in many shops selling local products. Return to Guilin.

<b>Day 8 – Guilin to Shanghai by Flight</b>



Morning tour features the the picturesque <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Reed-Flute-Cave.asp">Reed Flute Cave</a> which has some of the best scenery in Guilin.



Transfer to airport after lunch to connect the flight for <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/shanghai_travel_guide.asp">Shanghai</a>, the largest city of China. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to our Shanghai hotel. Explore the city on your own.

<b>Day 9 – Shanghai China Tour</b>



Visit the Ming era <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/Yuyuan-garden.asp">Yu Garden</a> which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. A 40 minutes free shopping at local silk shop.



After lunch, tour the more impressive <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/shanghai_attractions.asp">Bund</a>. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Head to the <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/china-guide/shanghai_attractions.asp">Former French Concession Area</a>, the most romantic slice of the city where remains much to explore around this colonial quarter. Tour end with a visit to the<a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/people%27s_square.asp">People’s Square</a>.

<b>Day 10 – Zhujiajiao Water Village</b>



Morning tour features with a tour to Zhujiajiao.



Zhujiajiao is an ancient town located in the Qingpu District of Shanghai<b>.</b>The population of Zhujiajiao is 60,000<b>.</b>



Zhujiajiao is a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Archaeological findings dating back 5,000 years have also been found. 36 stone bridges and numerous rivers line Zhujiajiao, and many ancient buildings still line the riverbanks today.  After lunch, tour the Shanghai Museum. <a href="http://www.sinotour.com.cn/China-guide/shanghai-museum.asp">Shanghai Museum</a> one of the must-see <i>Shanghai tourist attractions</i> and is well-known as a museum of ancient Chinese art.
